VNX, the first European licensed platform for tokenization of precious metals, joined the Luxembourg economic mission to South Korea organized by the Luxembourg Ministry of the Economy in the context of 60 years of diplomatic relations, chaired by HRH Crown Prince Guillaume and led by the Minister of the Economy H.E. Franz Fayot.
During the mission VNX held an exclusive event for the Korean investor community. Korean and European investors discussed the current trends and opportunities in traditional and crypto markets and shared their experience.
The event was especially relevant given the current turbulence in traditional and crypto markets caused by macroeconomic and geopolitical factors. The crypto market is also feeling the aftershocks of the FTX collapse.
The VNX event facilitated in-depth discussions in the sphere of blockchain technology, tokenization of traditional assets and the role of regulation. Among the key takeaways from the event were the needs for increased transparency, and the development of strong digital assets backed by traditional assets.

The event speakers from Luxembourg include prominent experts, such as Michael Jackson, former COO of Skype and former Partner of Mangrove Capital, currently Chairman of Arcane Crypto AS; Nitan Pathak from the European Investment Fund (EIF) and Alexander Tkachenko, Managing Partner of 2be.lu VC fund and founder and CEO of VNX, as well as Jean Diederich, Vice-Chair of the Digital Finance work group at Digital Europe and president of APSI – Luxembourg association of IT professionals.
Among the special Korean guests who joined the discussion were Youngju Nielsen, Professor of finance and Co-Chair of AIMBA at Graduate School of Business Sungkyunkwan University; Min-Q Kim, Managing Director, Korea Investment Partners and Max Minchul Shin, CEO and founder of Burrito Wallet / Rotonda Co. Ltd.
The event’s speakers received a commemorative NFTs from the VNX Gold Genesis Collection created for VNX by South Korean visual artist Dr. Jeonghyun Ha. The VNX NFT collection is consisting of 18 works of art turned into NFTs. It is inspired by the visual for VNX Gold – a multichain token that represents ownership of physical gold. Dr. Ha is known for expressing a childlike innocence through her drawings, hence the resemblance of a child’s graffiti overlayed on a gold coin throughout the NFT collection.
